AI Processing and Third-Party Services

CityBot uses artificial intelligence services provided by third parties (such as Claude from Anthropic and/or Gemini from Google) to process images and generate content. When you submit images through the app:

1. Your images are processed by these AI systems to identify urban issues and generate appropriate content for reporting.
2. Location data may be processed alongside images to determine the appropriate authorities to tag.

Social Media Integration

The CityBot app allows you to connect your social media accounts to enable automatic posting of issue reports. When you authorize this functionality:

1. We collect your social media account information necessary for posting content.
2. We generate and post content to your social media accounts based on your submitted reports.
3. Any content posted to social media platforms becomes subject to those platforms' terms of service and privacy policies.

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your social account settings.

How We Share Your Information

We will not transfer your personal information to any third party without seeking your consent, except in limited circumstances as described below:

1. Third-party service providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers that help us operate the Service, including AI image processing services, cloud storage providers, and analytics providers. These service providers are restricted from using your information for any purpose other than to provide services for BETSOL.
2. Social media platforms: With your authorisation, we will share content generated from your submissions with social media platforms to post on your behalf.
3. Government and municipal authorities: Information about reported issues, including location data and images, may be shared with relevant government agencies or municipal authorities responsible for addressing the reported issues.
4. Legal requirements: We may disclose your personal information to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order or other legal process; to enforce your agreements with us, including this Privacy Policy; or to respond to claims that your use of the Service violates any third-party rights.
5. Business transfers: If the Service or our company is merged or acquired with another company, your information will be one of the assets that is transferred to the new owner.

We require such third parties to use the personal information we transfer to them only for the purpose for which it was transferred and not to retain it for longer than is required for fulfilling the said purpose.

Analytics

We use analytics services to better understand how users interact with our Service. These services may collect information such as how often you use the application, what pages you visit, and what other sites you used prior to coming to the app. We use this information to improve our Service and provide a better user experience.

Retention Of Your Information

We will retain your personal information with us for 90 days to 2 years after user accounts remain idle or for as long as we need it to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected as detailed in this Privacy Policy. We may need to retain certain information for longer periods such as record-keeping/reporting in accordance with applicable law or for other legitimate reasons like enforcement of legal rights, fraud prevention, etc. Residual anonymous information and aggregate information, neither of which identifies you (directly or indirectly), may be stored indefinitely.

CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:

• Request that a business that collects a consumer's personal data disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers.
• Request that a business delete any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected.
• Request that a business that sells a consumer's personal data, not sell the consumer's personal data.

Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

CityBot does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website or through our app, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Retention Of Your Information

The Service is hosted and operated in the United States. If you are using the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated. The data protection and other laws of the United States might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to your information being transferred to our facilities and to the facilities of those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Privacy Policy.
