About me

I am very passionate about building good communities where citizens can engage with the government seamlessly. I first saw the challenges while volunteering with Adopt-A-Street, a program in Broomfield Colorado spending weekends picking up litter. I noticed the same potholes, leaking sprinklers, and broken streetlights that went unreported. I wanted to make it easier for people to get them resolved. I conceived CityBot, an app for which I’m partnering with a tech company to make it easier for citizens to report civic issues like potholes, litter, sprinkler leaks, or broken streetlights. Using Gemini Pro Vision, CityBot generates short descriptions for each photo and tags the correct civic departments through geolocation. My goal is to make civic engagement simple and accessible for everyone.

Over time, I hope to grow CityBot into a nonprofit that empowers citizens, alongside a for-profit spin-off that uses drones and robots to enhance civic technology.
